Jepaa (Jepaa.com) : The great .Tel search engine Jepaa (Jepaa.com) : a .Tel search engine is taking off. 
Finally we have a real .tel search engine come out now. I am really exited when I see Jeppa : 1. This is what all .tel lovers wanted, a nice .tel only search engine (Die .Tel Suchmaschine), when people want to search contact information, they do not need to google and dig in thousands of web sites which have nothing to do with contact information, here we got one, because .tel means contacs and communication, need contact information, we Jepaa instead of Google 2. Jepaa support multiple languages at the very beginning, it support English, German (Deutsch ) ,Spanish, French and Italian , I believe it will support other languages later. 3. Like .tel itself, Jepaa is Mobile Device Friendly ,now two Jepaa sites are live, Jepaa.com and Jepaa.mobi, actually both Jepaa.com and Jepaa.mobi are Mobile Device Friendly, I checked from my Blackberry, they look very very nice. Just beautiful, just amazing… 4. Jepaa Search function : The great thing is Jepaa combined the key words and location search (Google maps) in one place. (a) Keywords Search: Just like other search engines, (google,yahoo,MSN), you can search keywords, you get the results of the .tel sites which contain the keywords in the contents you are searching and the .tel sites whose domain names (or sub-domain name )contain the keywords you are searching, like , if you search Pizza, you get the sites which contain Pizza in contents and the sites contain "Pizza" in the domain names. Even you can do exact keywords search by putting keywords in “”, like “Angelina", it give you the exact keywords search result, by the way, I did exact keyword search ”Angelina” , my site brangelina.tel comes up at the top (first place),what is algorithm of Jepaa's search and ranking of the sites, I have no idea yet. You can also search by combining keywords like : Toronto Hotel, it gives you expected results (but I tried Toronto+Hotel, it gives no results, many people like combine keywords with “+”,) (b) Location Search (Goggle Maps): there is a “City” text box, you can search city location, good thing is, you also have an option to search the city area from 1 KM to 200 KM, you can also combine keywords and city location search, like keyword “Hotel” and City “Toronto” 5. Jeppa seems already indexed most of the live .tel domains, I searched some of my domains, they are all indexed (some of them were just indexed by google days ago): like: thehotel.tel theairline.tel mycreditcard.tel ….. 6. Who is the guy behind this great .tel search engine ? On the site, there are two links, one is: tel-domain-registrieren.de , another one is about us http://www.jepaa.tel/, from jepaa.tel, you can see the CEO name is : Mr. Markus "Moveman" Zimmerli , Software Developer is Mr. Heiko "GreenRover" Henning , company is; Movetec GmbH Jepaa.com * by Movetec GmbH - move your e-business * Schloss Interlaken * Hauptstrasse 1 * Unterseen / Interlaken * BE * 3800 * Switzerland I found http://www.movetec.ch/ from google.de, this should be the guy ? At least , the developer is in Switzerland, and must be German in Switzerland. 7. What the word Jepaa mean ? I checked ,it seems neither English words nor German word, maybe some kind abbreviation ? Anyway, I like this name personally, many search engines like to have two same letters in the name, like, gOOgle, YahOO, so why not JepAA, it is also very easy to remember and pronounce, and pronunciation sounds beautiful. (Actually, many German words contain TWO "a", I stayed one year in Germany, the city name I stayed is Aachen which has two "a"s) 8. I just love it, love everything of it, even its logo is lovely and vivid. 9. Jepaa “Adwords” ? I think Jeppa “Adwords” function is already there, when you just do location search with “City”,say search Toronto, It gives you the map of Toronto, and at same time, it lists all Toronto related .tel sites, If Jepaa charge some money for that, this is Jepaa “Adwords” 10. Jepaa “Adsense” : one of the major issue for .tel to take off and have a great success is that there are should be some ways availible to moneytize the .tel domain names, like google “Adsense”, If we have Adsense for .tel, thousands more people will get .tel. Maybe Telnic and Jepaa can work together to develop something like Adsense ? maybe Telpages.com will provide something like that ? Let’s see how telpages will provide more functions for all .Tel lovers? Personally, I like German Engineering, because they always try to make perfect products. Jeppa is taking off, I wish it will like a “Jet” soaring into the .tel world and have a great success.
